Professional experience in reinsurance
Business career and professional development major stages:
- I studied mathematics and economics at the University of Hannover. After graduating with a degree in mathematics I joined Hannover Re in May 1995.
- During the first year of my career I became acquainted with all kinds of aspects of the life insurance business. Afterwards I worked as an Underwriter and Actuary in the German treaty department for the property and liability insurance business.
- In 1998 I joined the worldwide operating division Advanced Solutions.
- Since the beginning of 2002 I am responsible for structured reinsurance business worldwide. As Managing Director I now head Hannover Re Advanced Solutions.
Hobbies and Sports

Playing with my sons, hiking, cycling, inline skating, reading
